Frequently Asked Questions
How do I place an order?
|
Go to the website alldeliv.uz and carefully review all available offers. To do this, you need to specify
the departure and destination points, weight, and dimensions of the parcel. You will see all possible delivery options available
in Uzbekistan. They will vary in cost, courier pickup time, and delivery speed. All you have to do is choose the most convenient
rate for you, enter the sender and recipient details, specify what you are sending, and finally pay for the order. That’s it,
all you have to do is pack the shipment and wait for the courier.
|
What if the website does not have the destination I need?
|
In this case, send your request to our support team or by email. We will definitely find a solution and send your parcel anywhere
in the world. You won’t have to call dozens of courier services and painstakingly compare the terms and prices they offer.
We are in constant contact with all carriers represented in Uzbekistan and can find the fastest and most cost-effective rate for you.
|
What should I do if my shipment does not fit any of the dimensions or is very heavy?
|
In this case, you should contact us immediately. To do this, send your request to support or by email, and we will definitely work
through all your wishes and help you send the most non-standard cargo at the most optimal available price.
|
Can I specify the approximate weight and dimensions of the parcel?
|
No. Transport companies like accuracy. You should carefully weigh the parcel and measure its length, width, and height.
If the data is incorrect, the carrier will recalculate the cost based on the actual measurements and will only be able to send the parcel
after an additional payment, which, as you can imagine, may affect the delivery time.
|
How should I pack the parcel?
|
Some carriers offer their own packaging. Sometimes it is included in the cost of the order, and in other cases you will have
to pay extra (when ordering, be sure to read the «Additional Services» section). However, as a rule, couriers cannot pack
the shipment as securely as possible at the sender’s home. Therefore, it is better to pack the shipment yourself
(see the section «Packaging the shipment»). Just remember that before the courier
inspects the shipment, the contents cannot be completely sealed (wrapped in plastic, secured with tape, or sealed with adhesive tape)
— before shipment, the courier must carefully check the contents for prohibited items. It is also important to remember that the safety
of the parcel depends on the packaging method. For example, fragile items should be wrapped in bubble wrap, small parts should
be secured with tape, and voids should be filled with any cushioning material (foam, paper). An irresponsible attitude of the sender
towards packaging can cause damage to the shipment, which, in turn, will cause negative emotions for the recipient and will be
a cause for disappointment for us.
|
What cannot be sent by courier services?
|
All carriers prohibit the shipment of drugs, weapons, explosives, toxic substances, counterfeit products, as well as items prohibited
by the laws of the country of origin or destination. Some items, such as liquids, are considered conditionally dangerous and may require
additional payment from some carriers.
|
When will the courier arrive?
|
Pickup and delivery times may vary between carriers. However, couriers typically work from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays.
If the pickup request is made before 2:00 p.m., the courier will arrive on the same day; after 2:00 p.m., they will arrive the next day.
In any case, 30-60 minutes before the courier’s arrival, you will receive a call or text message informing you of the exact time of arrival.
|
Who will bring the parcel to my floor?
Usually, couriers will only carry parcels of a certain weight to your floor free of charge, and only in buildings with an elevator.
You will have to pay extra for carrying large or heavy items. For details on how much and how, see “Additional Services”.
If the carrier does not offer this service, the recipient will have to go down to the entrance to pick up their shipment. If this
is not done, the courier will take your shipment to the nearest warehouse of their company.
|
Why is my shipment delayed?
|
In an ideal world, all shipments should arrive on the specified date. However, in some cases, due to weather conditions or traffic
conditions, shipments may be delayed. The delivery time may also be extended for reasons beyond the carrier’s control. These
include martial law, civil unrest, and other force majeure circumstances.
|
How do I send a parcel abroad?
International shipments are processed in the same way as domestic shipments. However, there are a number of differences.
First, only parcels worth up to €200 and weighing up to 31 kg can be sent to EAEU countries and the Russian Federation
without paying customs duties. In this case, only delivery is paid for. If the value and/or weight of the parcel exceeds this limit,
you will have to pay extra. The amount of duties and taxes depends on the value of the goods and the customs regulations
of the specific country. These payments will have to be paid separately directly to the carrier.
Secondly, for certain categories of goods (e.g., food, medicines, works of art), licenses, certificates, and permits
from the relevant government agencies may be required.
|
Why insure your shipment?
|
Insurance is a useful feature, especially for expensive shipments. In the event of damage or loss of cargo, it will cover any losses.
So, when sending something valuable, it is not worth saving on insurance: it will cost you more in the long run.
|
How to track a shipment?
|
Most carriers offer real-time shipment tracking using a unique tracking number. You can find the tracking number
on the waybill.
|
What should I do if I can’t receive the parcel on the specified date?
|
No problem. Just agree on a convenient date with the carrier. But keep in mind that some carriers may charge you for storing
your shipment beyond a certain period: on average, this is 2–3 days.
